The forestry industry relies on dependable machinery that can withstand rugged environments and long hours in the field.

John Deere continues to push the standard forward with its new L-III Skidders, a lineup built for impressive operator comfort, visibility, and technology integration.

Every design element of these models focuses on keeping crews productive and efficient, regardless of terrain or time of day.

Elevated Operator Comfort

The L-III Skidder features a newly engineered cab designed to minimize operator fatigue and enhance precision control. Available in both base and premium trims, each model includes upgraded seating for improved comfort and support.

Operators can customize their seating with adjustable tilt and extendable cushions, while multiple orientation options, including a new right-side door, offer easier access and enhanced visibility.

The premium version adds a vented leather seat with heating and cooling for comfort across seasons. With seven-way adjustability and air-operated bolsters, operators can fine-tune their setup for better support during long shifts.

Improved Visibility

Crews often work in low-light conditions, so visibility is key. Each L-III Skidder includes an LED lighting package that covers the front, rear, and boom areas. Interior dome lights improve visibility during maintenance tasks.

A premium lighting upgrade adds high-beam, grill and service lights, delivering up to 200% more illumination than previous models. With improved lighting around the cab and engine, operators can maintain awareness and visibility throughout extended operations.

Intelligent Operator Assistance

The L-III series incorporates technology that simplifies control and boosts precision. Optional camera systems, including blade-view and tong-view, give operators detailed perspectives during complex maneuvers. Camera feeds can appear on either in-cab display, based on operator preference.

The built-in diagnostic tools simplify maintenance through quick access to performance data and system alerts. Remote Display Access (RDA) allows dealers and support teams to connect to the machine online, enabling off-site troubleshooting and adjustments to minimize downtime.

Advanced Control and Precision Solutions

Every L-III Skidder integrates TimberMatic™ Maps for better jobsite awareness and planning. The system provides real-time data visualization to help operators manage production and routes more efficiently.

These digital tools create a more connected operation that enhances decision-making and overall output.
